The HubSpot Difference

HubSpot isn’t just a leading marketing software with a built-in CRM platform for all aspects of scaling your business; it is also a customer success service that acts as enterprise software for businesses of any size. In today’s fast-paced digital environment, small business owners face the daunting task of managing customer relationships effectively while staying ahead of the competition. Customer relationship management (CRM) helps simplify business development, and HubSpot offers more than just the traditional CRM tools. HubSpot is an excellent platform for growing companies that are looking to streamline their revenue operations, and what’s best is that it is straightforward to use.

What Sets HubSpot Apart

HubSpot is renowned for its comprehensive marketing, sales, service, and website management tools. Unlike many competitors specializing in one area, HubSpot provides an integrated solution with CRM as a tool that enhances all aspects of your business needs. The CRM automatically integrates with marketing, customer service, and sales needs, and additionally, there are tools available to manage your website. This integration means you can manage your entire customer journey seamlessly, from first contact to post-sale service, all in one place. This makes HubSpot ideal for enterprises, but even small businesses will find that adding all these services up from other providers comes out to around the same cost as HubSpot’s one-stop-shop, or more.

User-Friendly

Small businesses often need more resources for extensive training. The platform’s user-friendly interface enables small business owners to quickly adapt and efficiently manage their operations without a steep learning curve. Personally, I’ve used HubSpot twice – back in 2019 for a few months and then again recently when I demoed it for this review. It’s quite user-friendly and offers a good value if all the tools are helpful for your business. I opted not to keep it back in 2019 because I was pitched by a really good sales guy from Keap. We ended up going with Keap because of that relationship, but I only kept it until 2021 because it was too much for what I needed in my main business. Most of my business comes from a network of long-standing relationships, so I saw the extra cost as not beneficial to me at the time.

Scalability

As your business grows, HubSpot grows with you. Compared to other companies that cater primarily to larger enterprises or are too basic for scaling businesses, HubSpot offers scalable solutions. You can start with free tools and upgrade as your needs evolve, ensuring the platform remains the perfect partner for your business’s growth.

Inbound Marketing

HubSpot is the pioneer of inbound marketing, and its approach focuses on creating quality content that pulls people toward your company and product. Through HubSpot, businesses can execute advanced inbound marketing strategies effortlessly, something that many competitors need to emphasize more. They offer courses to learn all their tools. Inbound marketing certification courses are in HubSpot Academy.

Integration

HubSpot offers a vast marketplace of integrations, allowing businesses to connect the platform with other tools such as e-commerce and social media. This capability is crucial for small businesses that rely on various digital tools to operate efficiently. HubSpot’s emphasis on simplicity with actionable insights gives it a competitive advantage.

Analytics and Reporting

In this data-driven age, HubSpot offers robust analytics and reporting features, setting it apart from competitors. They are developing a new system to provide detailed insights into customer interactions, campaign performances, and overall business health, enabling data-driven decision-making. Hopefully it will be launched by the time you read this post.

Educational Resources

HubSpot is not just a software provider, it’s a knowledge hub with training resources available to help users learn to use its tools. HubSpot Academy, blogs, community forums, and excellent customer support give small business owners everything they need to succeed. Unlike some platforms offering limited customization, HubSpot allows extensive personalization to tailor the platform to your business needs. A preferred software for customer success that focuses on automation and personalization within that automation, HubSpot enables customer success teams to effectively engage with customers by providing them the systems and tools they count on to make their service even better.

Good Value

While some competitors may offer lower entry costs, HubSpot provides more value with its comprehensive free tier and transparent pricing as you scale. Solopreneurs can start early with HubSpot to stay organized from the beginning with one central location managing all their business data. Speaking of data, data entry is a lot quicker, with automated commands freeing up valuable time. Email marketing that’s inside the platform makes communicating with prospects and customers much easier, automates the sales process, and schedules personal outreach. Content strategy, social media, and website integration all help push your business to the forefront of where your customers are. Learning development and community support take the guesswork out of how to make changes in the platform, which helps maximize the most important currency in your business: time. Time is not always going to be on your side, so utilize it to the best of your ability.

Some CRM platforms are notoriously complex. HubSpot’s focus on usability stands out, especially for small businesses with limited tech expertise.

Pricing

Professional Tier – $800/mo (Billed Annually $9,600/yr)

Enterprise Tier –  $3600/mo (Billed Annually $43,200/yr)

Choosing the right CRM and marketing platform is pivotal for small business owners. With its all-encompassing, user-friendly, and scalable solutions, HubSpot presents a compelling choice over its competitors. By investing in HubSpot, you are not just choosing a software; you are embracing a partner that grows with you, understands your challenges, and provides the tools and knowledge to overcome them.
