My goal with Financingsarah is to help enterprising people around the world narrow down their ideas, build a plan, and then fly by the seat of their pants to make it happen beyond their wildest dreams. I gain so much satisfaction from hearing about others’ success stories. I understand it’s hard to leave the comfortable life you have built, and it’s scary to leave your secure job to go out on your own to start a business or take a freelance approach. Not knowing where your next check is coming from can be terrifying. There are so many unknowns to obstruct every plan, challenges to limit every goal, and fears of the future, but I’ve ‘been there, done that,’ and I’m here to help make the unknowns a little more tolerable. Maybe you have already taken the plunge, but the challenges are rising, and it’s hard to find the right information to help you stay motivated and focused.

About me:

I’m living a self-employed, sales partnership lifestyle that enables me to balance fun and work. I started my first technology sales business in 2008, and since then, I’ve developed my skills to work with some of the largest enterprises in the world. I sell enterprise communications technology solutions, but I didn’t always. My first sales position was selling home phone service in a cell phone store- I can tell you that was a hard sale. My prospects would object that:

“The cell phone employees just convinced me to use the money I would spend on a home phone to buy a cell phone plan.”

Cue my convincing pitch and often a contract with a brand-new phone line for their home. That was way back in 2006, in my first sales job. Over the years, I trained hundreds of eager salespeople, helping them find their true sales selves while breaking their comfort zones and learning how to develop their own businesses. Teaching sales professionals the art of networking and finding shortcuts to success. Through mentorship and their hard work, they have started dozens of their own businesses over the years.

Ten years later, I would start my digital nomad path, I pivoted my sales career into an online business working remotely around Europe while helping enterprises in New York City with their technology needs. Since 2016, I’ve lived in some of the most beautiful places around Europe while working remotely from New York.

In 2020, I settled down- a little, in Croatia and Slovenia. In 2021, I started purchasing real estate and decided to start Financing Sarah. I started Financing Sarah to help others figure out their online business ideas and remote work strategies so that they can live a life of financial freedom. Lately, through posts and one day a future program, I’ll be doing one of my favorite things: helping enterprising people around the world narrow down on an idea, build a plan, and then fly by the seat of their pants to make it happen beyond their wildest dreams.
